POTENT-X welcomes ENoLL aboard

We are thrilled to announce that POTENT-X has forged a new partnership with the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL)—a beacon in the world of user-driven innovation. This collaboration will help POTENT-X chart new waters in the energy transition of maritime ports, ensuring smoother sailing towards a more sustainable and efficient future.

ENoLL is an international non-profit association headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. Since its launch, it has been steering the global Living Labs movement, championing innovation ecosystems that put users at the helm. Living Labs are open-innovation ecosystems where real-world environments are used to develop, test, and refine new ideas with the active involvement of end-users, ensuring practical and scalable solutions. With over 480 members worldwide, ENoLL provides a platform for co-creating and experimenting with new technologies, business models, and policies—an approach aligned with POTENT-X’s mission of transforming port energy systems.

The maritime industry is on the brink of a green revolution, and Living Labs provide the ideal testing ground for cutting-edge innovations. By partnering with ENoLL, POTENT-X gains access to a dynamic network of stakeholders who can help anchor new energy solutions in real port environments. From optimizing energy flows to integrating renewable sources, this partnership will serve as the wind in our sails, driving forward the decarbonization and digitalization of port operations. ENoLL will be leading key activities such as the Living Lab Basics workshop on methodologies, Focus Group Interviews, Governance Model Workshops, and Best Practices Mapping, ensuring that our initiatives are grounded in proven approaches and global best practices.

This collaboration opens up new opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint actions, and pan-European experiments. Together with ENoLL, POTENT-X will navigate uncharted waters, harnessing Living Labs as our compass to explore the next wave of sustainable port innovations.
